Seyrig didn't bother me too much--I think it may simply be the case that I have more issue with the movies she chose to be in than I do with her. So far, she's 2-for-5 for me. I think she is great as the Countess, there is something old fashioned about her way of moving and talking that really sells the idea that she is very old. <br /><br />I liked the look of the film more than its plot, and had to laugh at some of the dafter moments. The killing of a particular character with a glass bowl was incredibly random. I agree about the ending, they should have just had them drive off into the night, would have been more chilling.
