I don't think I have the full cultural context to understand it completely. As I don't know much French, I clicked on the sub-titles and the only option was ... Korean!

I watched it anyway. I paused it for a few minutes to read your entry on Cline and Julie Go Boating and also the Wikipedia entry, just to make sure I would have a good idea of what's going on. I'm glad I did! I don't know what I would have made of it had I not read the summaries.

I'll watch it again someday. I liked it well enough, there were a number of scenes that were wonderful without knowing the dialogue, like the opening and I also loved Celine's magic act.

I certainly enjoyed Juliet Berto's performance! So animated, so indignant so committed to solving the mystery!

But I feel like a missed A LOT! I'll definitely be on the lookout for this so I can watch it again in a language I understand. Very twisted - very good from a sense that it reminded me a bit of a Christopher Nolan film well before it's time.Colby Mannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01075717683754554747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-72006611986885900522011-03-14T12:00:57.167-05:002011-03-14T12:00:57.167-05:00Yes, but in French and with a lot of giggling.Yes, but in French and with a lot of giggling.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-18740181532022872072011-03-13T23:12:37.868-05:002011-03-13T23:12:37.868-05:00Whoa.
