Come to think of it, the hordes of rampaging Thugees sound quite a bit like movie Cherokee. Perhaps in 1930s Hollywood, any horde of "natives" had a standard aural landscape, and anyone could be knocked cold by a single punch from a righteous fist.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-52722974765169839402011-03-29T16:03:02.404-05:002011-03-29T16:03:02.404-05:00punches have changed in the movies, i think. i wat...punches have changed in the movies, i think. i watched gunga din the other night and i remember thinking that punches in the 30s were much shorter - had a shorter arc - then punches these days. more like a quick violent poke in the snoot.

nice review.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-67297859912319295812011-03-28T12:57:13.224-05:002011-03-28T12:57:13.224-05:00I agree, but I fell slightly guilty in enjoying th...I agree, but I fell slightly guilty in enjoying this film.
