I can imagine having the same one, honestly.

I think I read this in high school, but I'm not 100% sure. I know I read it in college at least once.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-14978076238617396042014-07-05T18:57:18.836-05:002014-07-05T18:57:18.836-05:00As you mentioned, I read Julius Caesar my sophomor...As you mentioned, I read Julius Caesar my sophomore year of high school and that's also when I saw this film. They brought it in and showed it in class. I didn't know who any of the performers in the movie were at the time. I'll be honest, the biggest thing my friends and I talked about after seeing this film was whether or not there had been a bare boob in the opening credits. (Considering this was an American film made in the 1950s I highly doubt it now.)Chip Laryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00787403805554027107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-29409437257206356962014-07-02T09:51:26.760-05:002014-07-02T09:51:26.760-05:00He's the biggest surprise to me. John Gielgud, James Mason...the fact that the could pull off Shakespeare isn't a shock at all.

And for what it's worth, this is still sexy-Brando, not planetary-sized-Brando, and he does walk around without a shirt for a lot of it, so there's a little bit for the ladies...SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-3609456626733009852014-07-02T09:48:11.761-05:002014-07-02T09:48:11.761-05:00It is, although Brando hardly does the line lie th...It is, although Brando hardly does the line lie that. I expected that sort of drawn out pattern, but he actually shouts it into a crowd. It really is a surprising performance--it's nothing like the Brando you expect (so it must be the Brando you deserve).SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-81175004084473981112014-07-02T06:53:29.284-05:002014-07-02T06:53:29.284-05:00In that photo, Caesar's got a look on his face...In that photo, Caesar's got a look on his face like, "Arrrrgh—a little to the left!" I was leery about watching this, too, but was really surprised how well it was done. Kimberly J.M. Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09078951928157843937noreply@blogger.com
