I ...I really should watch Beasts one of these days. I tend to like Idris Elba in most of what he does. For me, a lot of it is that I have only a certain amount of "I want to kill myself now" movies I can take at a given time, and I know I've still got a few of those coming.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-6189998382048622742016-07-21T17:47:16.622-05:002016-07-21T17:47:16.622-05:00I saw "Incendies" and immediately though...I saw "Incendies" and immediately thought of a similar themed film concerning just how evil human beings can be to one another, "Beasts of No Nation." "Beasts" resonated much more with me as I found Idris Elba to be beyond exceptional in HOB's "The Wire," so I am predisposed to enjoying his films and television series ("The Wire" and "Luther"). So much so, that I challenge anyone to watch Leo's Oscar win and then Idris and the young actor at the center of "Beasts" and tell me they weren't robbed by the academy.

Anyway both films are rough to watch on many levels, and they make my problems seem quite trivial.John from Daejeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08431973044799010218noreply@blogger.com
