I've rarely looked at them and thought, "Yeah, that's the right guy for the part." I get that with Patrick Wilson, and you're not alone in that opinion. One of my better friends has him as her go-to for "this is a guy with a punchable face."SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-90031196398857179282020-10-29T07:56:55.249-05:002020-10-29T07:56:55.249-05:00It's because of Patrick Wilson's lack of e...It's because of Patrick Wilson's lack of enthusiasm, lol. I don't reslly hate him, but space filler is a great description of him.

For some odd reason, I decided to give Chapter 2 a chance. For my money, it's the best of the lot.Dellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05634519605152190304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-25705946213382349612020-10-28T21:02:24.195-05:002020-10-28T21:02:24.195-05:00You've mentioned your lack of enthusiasm for P...You've mentioned your lack of enthusiasm for Patrick Wilson before, and that's fair. He's a bit of a space filler for me--most of the time I don't hate him in a role, but it's rare that I think he's the best choice for much.

I didn't hate this, but I also haven't rushed out to watch the sequels. He's probably...He makes some interesting films. He's probably not going to make my favorite movie, but he's solid enough that I'm confident going into a movie when I see his name on it. I actually like chapters 2 and 3 better by quite a margin. As for Wan, I like him, not love him. For me, The Conjuring is the height of his powers to this point. He's got some other good films, but I think that's his best. He did do Chapter 2, as well, so yay. And Lin Shaye is usually the best part of a movie, especially with Patrick Wilson around blanding it up. /rantDellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05634519605152190304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-82929336824147229362020-10-28T19:09:33.109-05:002020-10-28T19:09:33.109-05:00I had never seen this film though I do think James...I had never seen this film though I do think James Wan is an interesting filmmaker as there's not a lot of respect towards horror filmmakers.thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.com
