Good riddance to her.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-29284265599149061462014-01-06T02:19:33.207-06:002014-01-06T02:19:33.207-06:00It would have been an interesting twist if Torquil...It would have been an interesting twist if Torquil had refused Joan in the end and sent her off to the island to be married to her old millionaire and instead ended up with Catriona. I would have liked that.
TSorensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12208153011927807857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-63980748508286988632012-10-21T00:26:40.521-05:002012-10-21T00:26:40.521-05:00I honestly didn't notice that. That bothered me too, though I suppose that is part of the charm. Did you notice Molly who throw herself out of the window and probably killed herself? I do not think the characters really noticed her. They looked out "Oh, I think she moved" and she is practically forgotten.
TSorensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12208153011927807857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-52069914201887235072012-05-15T18:26:07.587-05:002012-05-15T18:26:07.587-05:00Very true. I really wanted to like this film (Hell...Very true. I really wanted to like this film (Hell, I'm spending my time on them so I want to like everything), but the main character really stood in the way.

Right now, you're thinking of the terrible theme song. You say "upper crust British",...BAHAHAHA! You say "upper crust British", and I say "upper-crust fops".

Also I was particularly fond of "The plot is cute, but there are no surprises here unless you’ve never seen a romantic comedy in your life."

Man it's like we share the same brain sometimes.Squishhttp://www.filmsquish.com/1001noreply@blogger.com
