It's fucking brilliant.

I still haven't seen this one yet, but even reading the reviews of it (mostly Letterboxd) I knew your review would go exactly like this did, mostly because of the age difference between the two leads and for the exact reasons you laid out. This seems very scattershot in terms of narrative, which given it's a slice-of-life coming-of-age directed by PTA, it'd be hard to get more scattershot than that; that's largely why I never seemed to be interested in seeing this, even with me being a PTA fan. Even if this doesn't get added to 1001, which would mean I won't get to it until I get that far in Best Picture, I still feel like it'd be hard to get excited about watching it.Adolytsihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12266038228108057617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-82380981186701139132022-06-16T16:31:05.782-05:002022-06-16T16:31:05.782-05:00This didn't work out for me either. It wanted to be more of a vibe than a movie. I'm a sucker for anything P.T. Anderson does also was into the music.thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.com
