Can that even be right? Looks like Steve and several others who posted here are proceeding at a much faster pace. And those numbers were way outside normal even for me. I know I had some days where I watched 6 or 7 movies back to back to back (etc.)

"When I started this, I mapped out a spreadsheet that included the lengths of the various films."

By coincidence, I saw the 4.5 hour La Roue (1923) today. Now that I've knocked off all the additions, maybe my next goal should be the longest entries. Do you still have this spreadsheet? I still need five of the latest additions, and I've done all the new adds from the previous couple of books.

When I started this, I mapped out a spreadsheet that included the lengths of the various films. I've made it a point to knock out the long ones as a way to "get ahead" even when I'm still just keeping on pace. Even now, in general, I'll pick a longer film when I can for the same reason.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-86073512776282883942012-11-01T15:31:56.896-05:002012-11-01T15:31:56.896-05:00Thanks for the big mention. I've got 59 unwatched among the first 200 (25 among the first 100). I guess you and I are concentrating on opposite ends of the list, since my goal had been to knock off every single addition to the original list (which I achieved in October).

I have no idea how many 3 hour plus entries I have to see, but my guess would be quite a few. I've never tracked the length of the entries. I know I've got The Decalogue, Satantango, and Shoah (not to mention your 1900 DVD) still to watch among the very long entries.Chip Laryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00787403805554027107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-88954071707479573842012-11-01T11:09:50.911-05:002012-11-01T11:09:50.911-05:00Look to the sidebar, my friend.
