Having recently given up cable (we detached completely), I can no longer say what plays where.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-90080865028617595732019-10-19T13:54:32.501-05:002019-10-19T13:54:32.501-05:00I am also a big arachnophobe and yet I've seen...I am also a big arachnophobe and yet I've seen this a couple of times, not long after it came out. It is pretty disturbing but the spiders are played as funnier than they are scary and that helps a lot. Still, brrrr.

The weird thing is that I never see this on cable. I channel surf a lot and it's just not on TV.Ipecachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15157560182505626755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-72825773508213887882019-10-18T23:19:14.086-05:002019-10-18T23:19:14.086-05:00It does feel like a weird little side project for ...It does feel like a weird little side project for Scar-Jo, who was otherwise on a trajectory into meteoric stardom.

I do have a great deal of trouble with Arquette as the main hero, but that's more a personal issue.

I'm happy to see I'm not the only one squicked out by spiders.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-40050067778936699682019-10-17T00:59:30.342-05:002019-10-17T00:59:30.342-05:00I hate spiders as well. I squirm at the sight of them when they're big and ugly.

As for this film, it's an OK B-movie as the only reason I saw was because of Scar-Jo 3:16 as she was alright in the film. It was a transitional film for her as she had just gotten off the acclaim of three well-received performances in Ghost World, An American Rhapsody, and The Man Who Wasn't There and was about to step into the one-two knockout punches of Lost in Translation (aka BEST FILM EVER!) and Girl with a Pearl Earring.thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.com
