This one doesn't, though. It sticks relatively close to the original story.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-79589087629490040552014-01-14T04:36:19.365-06:002014-01-14T04:36:19.365-06:00Nah, Titan A.E. is more space cowboys than space p...Nah, Titan A.E. is more space cowboys than space pirates. It's also not Disney, I don't think (it's Don Bluth... and co-written by Joss Whedon, so I suppose it'd have more of a Firefly feel). I'm also not sure all Disney films really stick that close to the original stories (like any of the big fairy tale films, or The Jungle Book, or...). But I apologize... I'm just nitpicking now. Just wanted to make some clarifications.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08092564511948736386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-58189038441787919982014-01-14T00:32:31.702-06:002014-01-14T00:32:31.702-06:00A very entertaining film. Like most Disney films based on previous material, they stick close to the story (Cinderella, The Rescuers) and it is mostly the visualization that is innovative. I have a vague recollection of Titan A.E. also being something of a swashbuckler in the same vein, I'd have to see it again.
