I honestly can't remember much about it, other than wondering how the pushme-pullyu, um, eliminated waste. I had never read the children's book so it was all new to me. I believe I was mildly amused by it, but not impressed enough to ever watch it again.Chip Laryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00787403805554027107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-57260656557330236052013-12-09T12:37:25.971-06:002013-12-09T12:37:25.971-06:00Not petty at all. I avoided Annie Hall until this year because it beat Star Wars for Best Picture when I was 10.

And "Talk to the Animals" really is a pretty good song.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-53481154439272853862013-12-09T10:32:24.568-06:002013-12-09T10:32:24.568-06:00For some reason I have avoided this one, I suspect...For some reason I have avoided this one, I suspect mostly because I was so miffed that "Talk to the Animals" won Best Song in a year when "The Look of Love" was nominated. I like this movie more than most, probably because I was a kid when it came out and things like the pushmi-pullyu and that silly sea snail I found most wondrous. Watching it again, I still like it and don't think it's nearly as bad as its reputation, but I do admit a bit of a childhood bias here.1001: A Film Odyssey is produced, directed and written by Chris, a librarian.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04803620768028761898noreply@blogger.com
