It's the right blend of all of the elements and it doesn't skimp on the crazy at the end.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-52168330636251453402021-10-27T15:09:37.110-05:002021-10-27T15:09:37.110-05:00I've never heard of it referred to before as N...I've never heard of it referred to before as Night of the Eagle it was always Burn, Witch, Burn when it played often on TV when I was younger. I was a kid when I watched it initially because I knew Janet Blair from her role as Henry Fonda's wife in the series "The Smith Family" (Ron Howard played their son). Needless to say this was a very different mate than the one she played for Hank as well as the guileless younger sister in "My Sister Eileen"!

I've seen all three adaptations of the novel "Conjure Wife" this was drawn from-the others are the 40's "Weird Woman" with Lon Chaney, Jr. which isn't bad and the 80's "Witches' Brew" (with Teri Garr & Lana Turner! It's actually Lana's last theatrical feature) which isn't that good-and this one is the best of the three, though they make interesting comparisons. joel65913https://www.blogger.com/profile/14526657073681774683noreply@blogger.com
