The film moves gradually just as Ingemar moves gradually into accepting what the world is and what his life is. The film seems to do most things well though, so I might be in the minorityChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09395044055566348346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-50005591544321682672017-05-17T23:00:27.081-05:002017-05-17T23:00:27.081-05:00My job entails a great deal of reading, which is w...My job entails a great deal of reading, which is why I don't read for pleasure a lot these days. In fact, it's pretty much why I started this blog. It's one of the better graphic novels I've read and I get it from the library every two or three years to read it again.Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17921029597363212734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-52890491551280254782017-05-17T10:20:27.694-05:002017-05-17T10:20:27.694-05:00Based on Hallstrom's videography, him making a...Based on Hallstrom's videography, him making a movie about ABBA seems like a natural. Evidently, he did a ton of ABBA videos as well as a late-'70s documentary on them. Seems he's a big fan. Great movie.

I hadn't thought of Lasse Hallstrom for a while but I DVRed the ABBA movie off TCM and watched it with my brother. (He's a big ABBA fan. Who isn't?) And I was surprised to see that ABBA: The Movie was directed by Lasse Hallstrom. (ABBA: The Movie is very entertaining, but it might not be such a great choice for people who don't like ABBA.)Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17921029597363212734noreply@blogger.com
