It's available on DVD, but in Fullscreen only.

About 8-10 years ago Sleuth showed up on the IMDB Top 250 list, so I watched it. It was easy to find then. I'm pretty sure it was a VHS tape from a movie rental place (remember those?) Like you, I enjoyed it a lot, although I've seen enough "twist" films that I wasn't surprised by anything that happened. It was still a good film.

I thought about watching the remake solely to see Caine now in the older role, but I never did.Chip Laryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00787403805554027107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-21563003012450021842012-05-01T13:48:01.638-05:002012-05-01T13:48:01.638-05:00It's one I've sort of always wanted to wat...It's one I've sort of always wanted to watch. I like that this film has a real sense of smirk to it. By focusing almost entirely on those two characters, we end up with a complete profile on them, and both of them have that sense of personal superiority that comes through in everything they do.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-1418049278806031992012-04-28T23:14:24.413-05:002012-04-28T23:14:24.413-05:00This is a fantastic film. It's so simple, so clever and built around some fantastic performances. Every twist and turn keeps the film engrossing and it's one of the best thrillers I've seen.

I, too, can't believe this film is so hard to find. It needs a proper release because I think it would find an audience. It's the kind of film that would fit perfectly into the thriller/puzzle vibe we've gotten from people like Nolan and Fincher in the past decade.Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00999103091301885129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-83358438458135699762012-04-28T14:11:05.538-05:002012-04-28T14:11:05.538-05:00Don't take my word for it, man.
