He's better than most of his movies.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-36786843885493671132011-08-18T23:04:18.782-05:002011-08-18T23:04:18.782-05:00Good review. I was also surprised that I genuinely liked Candyman.

As for Tony Todd, he frequently pops up in crappy horror movies (Hatchet and Wishmaster come to mind) as an homage to his work here.Brian Vs. Or is it more likely that he's difficult to cast simply because he's really, really tall?

I'd like to think it's the latter. Not a lot of non-horror roles out there for a guy who looks like he can touch the rim of a basketball hoop without jumping.SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166297507174717122.post-65398680712191130212011-02-02T01:13:04.639-06:002011-02-02T01:13:04.639-06:00Last time I saw Tony Todd was Season 7 of "24...Last time I saw Tony Todd was Season 7 of "24," as General Juma, who very improbably takes over the White House. (He was also the third-in-command bad guy in Sean Connery's "The Rock," wasn't he?) I agree he should get more work. For one thing, he's got great comic timing, and he's not bad with drama, either.Kevin Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01328790917314282058noreply@blogger.com
